Explore Eureka

As a friend of mine said “one thing they do very well in Eureka is food”, it’s true!!

Restaurants we recommend:

Eureka Springs Coffee House | Coffee and Kindness – Great coffee is crucial, they partner with award winning Onyx coffee lab.  Great coffee, food and atmosphere.  Downtown – Main street

Rockin’ Pig Saloon (hwy 62 middle of town) – it’s not just BBQ, it’s much more and its one of our favorites.  The Wagyu burgers are incredible, fantastic steaks, pizzas, pretty much everything is great.

Rogue’s Manor Restaurant and Lodging (roguesmanor.com) (downtown) – We really enjoyed dinner there, great ambience and the food was excellent, seafood and steaks.

Mei Li Cuisine (Hwy 62 East side) – Great Sushi and great service.  3094 E Van Buren, Eureka Springs, AR 72632

Local Flavor (downtown) – One of the better restaurants in town, upscale and good

Ermilios (white street) is fantastic italian, ambience is really good.

Thai House (on hwy 62 in middle of Eureka) we eat here alot, if you like Thai you’ll love it and great service too.

La Familia (on hwy 62 in middle of Eureka)- We like their deck and the food is good, it’s your standard Mexican restaurant Tex-mex.  The Shrimp and steak fajitas are a favorite. 120 E Van Buren, Eureka Springs, AR 72632

Horsehoe Grill (Hwy 62 on east side)-  This is a go to for us quite often, it’s just good  service and good food, burgers, chicken fried steak, etc

Saddle Up – New restaurant downtown, brought to you by the same people who own Horseshoe Grill. Early feedback is it’s great! no surprise!

Main Street Cafe – (Downtown) great breakfast and great service.

Cottage Inn Restaurant (cottageinneureka.com) – now doing select dates only, catch them when they are open, it’s fantastic.  On Van Buren, west side of Eureka.

HOME | Grotto Wood Fired Grill (grottoeureka.com) – We have lots of guests tell us Grotto is excellent!

Hiking:

Love to Hike? here’s some local trail info.  The hiking trails at Lake Leatherwood are about a mile away.  I like to run from Bear Mountain cabins on county road 206, if you like to run you can get in 3-4 beautiful scenic miles on a dirt road with hardly any traffic, there are some great views of the white river.  Hobbs state park is within an hour away and has alot of trails too Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area | Arkansas State Parks

Water Sports / Golf:

There is great fishing in the area and we highly recommend Huck Fin’s Fishing guide Service, the owner Rance is an entertaining guide and best of all we’ve caught a lot of fish with him.  (479) 544-2361 , huckfinguide@gmail.com , https://www.facebook.com/huckfinguideservice/

Beaver Lake has a lot to offer, boating fishing, camping, parks and trails. 10 min away. starkey marina is the closest marina to us and the Dam is 5 miles away, there is a swimming area and boat ram at the dam.

Holiday Island/Table Rock lake is right down the road with a incredible mountain top golf experience and a marina on table rock (a big Missouri lake) – 20 min away

The white river is approximately 3 miles to the nearest boat ramp (Houseman access), world class trout fishing, fantastic canoeing/kayaking and views are to be had.

The Kings river is about 30 minutes away and is a fantastic river to kayak/canoe and has great smallmouth bass fishing.  https://www.triggergapoutfitters.com/ https://kingsriveroutfitters.com/

Lake Leatherwood is one mile east of us and is a fun little lake, great hiking trails, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and has a nice little swimming area.
